A gorgeous cherry red paint job makes this awesome Webster typewriter,made by Brother in 1965, absolutely stand out.
A fully featured typewriter with a dedicate 1/! key, touch control, and bi-color ribbon selector — this little Brother is ready to write! The platen roller is soft and delivers and excellent typed imprint – check out that type sample, I’ll wait 🙂
Cleaned, disassembled, inspected, adjusted, and enhanced. New rubber grommets have been installed to secure the lid and eliminate rattles. New bumpers on the ribbon cover also dampen any noise. New bumpers under the space bar make the space bar action quiet and comfortable. New rubber feet have been installed to cushion the typewriter – enhancing the typing touch and delivering an awesome typing experience. Broken parts have been repaired or replaced; keys have been bleached from dingy faded tan back to factory fresh bright white. I’ve included a snapshot of the behind the scenes action for this one, with the disassembled machine on the workbench, I’m so pleased with how it turned out.
In short, this is a one-of-a kind custom typewriter that I am absolutely in love with and which I hope you will be too. Includes a case in good condition with functioning zipper.
